Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 21 – 32 years as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is admissible to 05 years for SEBC, SC, ST & Women candidates & 10 years for PWD Candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should Possess Graduation Degree or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Govt and Knowledge in basic Computer skills, have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject or have passed the High School Certificate Examination oer equivalent examination with odia as a subject/ medium of examination in non-language subject or have passed a test in Odia in ME School Standard conducted by Education Department.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Computer Skill Test & Viva Voce Test.
Examination Fee: Applicants required to pay Rs. 100/- through the following modes of payment. SC/ ST & PWD candidates are exempted from this payment.
Online Mode: Candidates can pay through online mode by using Net Banking or Debit Card/ by e-payment through OSSC portal. On successful payment, an e-Challan will be generated from the Treasury portal.
Offline Mode: Candidates can pay through offline mode through Challan drawn under the “Head of Account 0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees”.
Conventional Mode: Candidates can pay through the Conventional mode into the Treasury under the Head of Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.ossc.gov.in from 18-09-2017 (Extended to 23-09-2017) to 17-10-2017 by 11:55 PM (Extended to 22-10-2017) & candidates belonging to special category such as PWD & Ex Servicemen, sports person and In-service contractual employees claiming age relaxation etc should submit their DAF along with required documents as mentioned in the notification through speed post/ regd post to the Secretary OSSC, Barrack No-1, Unit-V, Bhubaneswar on or before 25-10-2017.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on to the website www.ossc.gov.in
2. Click on “Online Application Form”.
3. Select the appropriate post.
4. Read the Instructions carefully & click on “Apply Online”.
5. Fill all the details & once check the application form after completion & upload scanned copy of photograph with signature.
6. Click on submit button.
7. After submission of an application an user ID and a password will be generated on the screen, he/she should note down for future use.
8. Click on the button print application form.
9. The Application Form will generated by the system with a unique bar code & number printed on the format, which is the index number of the application.
10. Take a printed application form for future use.
